Me & @johntdrake are excited to introduce Charlotte to the world! Baby Charlie was born a full 4 wks early due to an emergency c-section I required because of newly discovered adhesions on my intestines. She is SO SMOL but doing great and we hope to take her (and me!!) home soon.
Proposed to my best pal & she said yes! Then we took pics where we acted dumb, which is why she rules!

...and whenever I talked about the "bonus hard mode" of Andrea's surgery and recovery this last month - it was that all of that happened while she was ~6 Months Pregnant.
It was the scariest 3 weeks of our lives

This June, @johntdrake and I will welcome our daughter to our family. It has been a long road to get here and we're grateful to be on the path to parenthood. I couldn't imagine raising our #rainbowbaby with anyone else.

Midnight Charlie Party let’s gooooooo! Drunk on milk and ready to snuggle!
Today we said goodbye to Ghost, the sweetest and snuggliest guy. He always had a purr, meow & cuddle for every friend. So grateful brought him & his brother into my life. Gonna miss him terribly. Rest well buddy. Losing your big heart leaves a big hole in this family.

From a design standpoint, having not played it, I'm wondering what the justification is that Elden Ring doesn't pause.
Is there a multiplayer component that makes it impossible? I'm not picking on it - I'm legit curious about "why pausing isn't in scope/necessary" for the game.

9 days, 3 doctors, 20 nurses, 30 staples, 2 NG tubes and 1 major surgery later: I’m finally home to continue my healing. A few thoughts: don’t take your healthy body for granted. It can go away at literally any moment and your world will stop when it does.

Well, I’m back in the hospital. After a good run at home my symptoms are back & it appears I might need another surgery. Trying non-invasive means first & hoping for the best. I’m grateful baby is doing good but if you’ve got any positive vibes to spare we’ll gladly take them!

It was hectic - stressing controllers might turn off accidentally while we waited to go onstage (or that we might flub notes in front of Paul McCartney.)

I realized that part of my “dislike” of Elden Ring is just a jealousy that people find so much fun in it & I really struggle to find that same fun.
Maybe part “getgud,” part “world doesn’t connect with me,” part “play style doesn’t fit with limited free time.” It bums me out!🤷
(Hey, don’t stop reaching out to your friends with young kids or stop inviting them to things. Even if they have to say no most of the time or are too exhausted or the event isn’t kid friendly, it’s nice to be remembered.)

You may have noticed I’ve been quiet here: well it’s because I’m on Day 3 of my hospital visit. My medical team is trying to figure out what is causing me excruciating abdominal pain. A coupe leads so far, but this is not how I thought this week was going to go!
