    It really makes absolutely zero sense that anyone who's under 18 gets tried as an adult. It completely defies the logic behind the laws. Either someone is a child or they're not. That fact doesn't change just because the crime is more upsetting.

    Getting education and training for a license to work is only the first step. Many licensing boards bar those with criminal records from obtaining licenses, even when they are not related to their record.
