I deleted my tweet about the tragic death of Colin Powell because many people interpreted it as anti-vax. It was not. I was excited to get vaccinated, hoping it would help speed a return to 'normal life'. I also did a PSA on Fox encouraging vaccination for those able....

So getting the first two doses really worked…. Hmmm…. When we were told by the same people of their safety and effectiveness ….that changed….now we are running out to get another jab BELIEVING THIS TIME? People are blind with fear that they are acting stupid!

You directly and deliberately used General Powell's death, without *any* context, to cast doubt on the long term effectiveness of Covid vaccines. It doesn't get much more anti-vax than that.

You could follow this up by saying to get vaccinated to protect those like Powell and others who are immunocompromised.

You do understand the the shot doesn't prevent your from actually getting Covid, right? It will keep a majority of the people who get the infection (breakthrough) from being hospitalized or seriously ill from it.
