but it was your advisor who had my favorite grant advice I've heard so far. it was something like "sure, they reject proposals all the time. the secret is to submit them faster than this."

oh yeah, I heard it from Juliana :) "the trick is to write them faster than they can reject them" In my defense, I followed it, I'm 2-16 so far :p
