    John Redwood‏ @johnredwood 31 Dec 2018

2019 should be a great year for all who believe in UK democracy. It is the year when Parliament should implement the decision of the People’s vote in 2016. March 30th should be Independence Day. From that day onward we need to be in control of our money, our laws and our borders.

The country of Scotland did not have an independent referendum. It was a UK referendum 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

I didn’t say it did. I was stating the demographic, which shows how we voted in Scotland. Not good for a country to be taken out of the EU against its will. So much for a devolved democracy.

I hate the way you run down this proud Independent nation that has achieved many things in the last 40 yrs and has made many EU countries accept our standards e.g. increasing animal welfare. We have NEVER been ruled as we helped make the rules.

For all who believe in democracy, the referendum first is advisory, second was based on lies and because of that, the result should be declared null.

The year you can escape #EUTaxAvoidance directive(starts in 2019). Why did you advise investors to remove money from UK before credit crunch hits in your role as financial advisor yet tell government to #Brexit? This does not match. Why won't you debate with @Femi_Sorry
