@YouTube I used to stream from my GoPro before but now seem to have issues. I read on one of your help pages that you need 1000 subs now to stream via mobile device. Is this why I am having trouble, or is there something wrong with my device/s? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. If you're live streaming through mobile device, you need to have at least 1K subs. However, you can still live stream from your desktop/laptop. Here's more info on live streaming: http://yt.be/help/jLyp . Hope this clarifies.

Thank you. That limit was 100 before. I have 233 now. It's so hard I just feel like it's a moving goal post. When I reach 1000, it makes me wonder whether I will then need to reach 5000. There are plenty of ways to live stream, so whatever, just voicing feedback.

Additional feedback to
@GoPro : There are no error messages when this happens, and I didn't receive any notification about this change. I can confirm that during my attempted stream, mobile data (charged) was used. It took me 5 attempts to realize it wasn't going to work.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
IOW, the situation is unpleasant at best. Lost time, lost money, and you (YouTube especially) lose people wanting to live stream.
