  1. Julian has been discharged by the judge at the Old Bailey on grounds that he was too great a suicide risk if extradited to the US. This is wonderful! It's a face-saving cover for the British to justify their disgraceful political trial of on America's behalf.

Today, when Julian is told if he is to be extradited to America for the crime of journalism, in the same court where the Guildford Four were wrongly convicted, we shall learn if 'British justice' has been finally cancelled.

On Monday, Julian will know if he is to be extradited to stand trial in America. His crime? Journalism as the enemy of state propaganda. In 2017, Julian and I took part in this debate on propaganda in Bergen in Norway.

The Johnson govt's delay of the second vaccine jab is meant to cover its panic and incompetence. There is no evidence from Pfizer or BioNTech to support a delay, which breaks trust and good faith. All doctors should support their colleagues who speak out.

Tonight, a courageous journalist. Julian . sits alone in a cell that's so cold he uses books to plug the draught. Denied visits from his family, he awaits a decision on 4 January that will mark forever 'British justice'. Watch this inspiring video from outside the prison.

The United States is imposing the same medieval blockade on Syria as I witnessed in Iraq in the 1990s -- denying the basics of life to an entire population. Read this truth about Syria and 'our' governments:

Trump's Attorney-General, William Barr, has charged a Libyan who, he claims, conspired with the late Abdel Al-Megrahi to blow up Pan Am 103. It was Barr who pinned suspect charges on Al-Megrahi 23 years ago. Read this remarkable investigation by Paul Foot.

My 2010 film 'The War You Don't See' is available to watch free at the link below. It is about the vital role journalists play in launching wars. As two nuclear powers are provoked relentlessly in our name, the film has never been more up to date...

was started 25 years ago by the late Robert Parry, one of America's finest journalists. It is the newspaper you can no longer buy at the newsstand -- an oasis of real journalism, which now needs your support urgently.

The Covid-19 pandemic has provided cover for imperial war-lovers, whose cynicism is the most virulent virus of all. Only our silence allows them to get away with it.

Venezuela, where at least 40,000 have died as a result of a US blockade, where Trump, Johnson and the EU have tried to install an absurd unelected president, has just held a clean and fair election. It's the news you don't read or see.

In this excellent piece on Australia's moronic, Washington-inspired China-bashing, former diplomat Tony Kevin quotes Lee Kuan Yew's Confucian warning: "Be careful or you will be the poor white trash of Asia."

The cowards surface now that Robert Fisk can't answer back. Fisk's description of 'hotel journalists' was too charitable. They are collaborators of the Vichy kind, whisperers of jealous lies. Read this defence of a reporter whose journalism shames them.

Scott Morrison, the failed marketing man who is Australia's PM, has been abusing China all year as an echo of Trump, even comparing it with Nazi Germany. Thanks to 'Scottie', Australia is now losing its best customer and gaining a mighty enemy. Well done!
