    I think you never schedule meetings across international time zones.

    I think some people use calendly as some sort of alpha dominance thing. Don’t ask me for a meeting and then point me at that thing. :)

    Has anybody told New Zealand that for less than $5k I can fly there with no devices, buy a new phone and computer, and restore a fucking iCloud backup? But yeah no I’m sure this will be a really practical deterrent for criminals. Absolutely. Or: Utter human rights abuse.

    The hardest is the discrepancy between REAL YOU and INTERNET YOU. Me IRL is an average Dutch boy who was terrible at school, hates big social crowds, and always moves to alt scenes. Pieter online is some fictional figure I created who has his shit together.

    People will also talk about you behind your back, make gross assumptions or straight out lies. And you have to somehow work on correcting those to everyone. Quite tiring to be in the public. But NET it's very nice. It lets you meet lots of nice people from all around the world!

    Think I figured out one of the reasons for my MBP overheating and kernel-panicking after sleep. Thousands of lines of this in the syslog: Dropbox[935]: [0927/210541:WARNING:dns_config_service_posix.cc(306)] Failed to read DnsConfig. Anyone have ideas? 😒?

    Medium realllly don’t want people to jump ship these days. Want to export your publication? Yeah no. That’s not even a thing. You can download your personal archive - but Chrome will then block it cause the zip is malformed in some way. Here, have some more popups.
