I’m coming out of the closet as someone who hates it when Trump supporters use the language of the closet to attempt to construct a false narrative of oppression around their shitty politics.

I'm about to go sell books at an off-site. I'm taking ANGER IS A GIFT with me to finish. So if you see me sobbing in a corner somewhere, it's all 's fault.

Do not co-opt the process of gay people “coming out” with *white* women’s archaic political views

It is important to remember at this moment in history that if two billionaires are fighting, both of them can be terrible people whose souls escaped their bodies decades ago. You don't have to pick a side.

as an events person, most of the books i put forward for displays and features are or were event books from nice authors, regardless of how the event went. even years later. so this holds up beyond handselling.

Bookseller Me would like to remind authors that we’ve all had events where no or only a few people showed up. Do NOT fret. Befriend the bookseller. We’re the ones on the front lines handselling your books bc you’re excellent human beings.

I can't remember the last time a book gave me that tight in the chest feeling that this one does. Probably not since TWO BOYS KISSING.

I can't begin to tell you what reading 's IS A GIFT is like. The urgency in this book, the anger, the passion, the hope, and the joy. It's all there leaping from the page. I really don't want to do anything but go home and finish it.

It's the kind of thing an editor would catch, but I know this author got a new editor a couple of books ago. Maybe the new one just isn't that familiar with the previous books, and the author isn't as aware of how often they use this plot device.

Because that happens in almost every one of these. Usually around the 100 page mark. So now I'm torn between wanting to finish the book so I don't fall behind in the series and really not being in the mood for this.

I'm reading the latest book in a series I like, but I'm starting to feel like every book is the same. 2 pages later... Oh, the main character is being followed. I bet his stalker will be accidentally killed... And exactly that happens.

⭐️GANG!⭐️ I am so excited to announce that the latest review of WHITE RABBIT glows—with an actual star! VOYA Magazine gave it a "perfect ten" (and a star!) and had some really nice things to say beyond just the quote below. Full text in the link!
