    'Squid Game' has been watched by two-thirds of all Netflix users but hasn't moved the needle on U.S. subscribers

    Well, damn.

    Alas, Brits — at least the Brexiters — never understood reality. They wanted a “better deal” than…being part of the EU. First of all, being in the EU isn’t a “deal” — it’s not transactional. It’s a relationship, a mentality, a way of life and thinking. But second, more importantly, being in the EU is the single biggest privilege a country can have, and I mean that empirically. Imagine how much Americans’ lives would improve — overnight — if they were members of the EU. They’d be able to live and study and work across Europe. They’d eat better food, have better healthcare, enjoy better media and incomes. Their living standards would rise dramatically.

    72% of the unvaccinated said they'd quit after a mandate. In real life, few do. Studies show older people are vulnerable to misinformation and Fox News, and yet almost all are vaccinated. What explains this? My piece of the sociology of the unvaccinated.

    Here’s the deal. Southlake is one of the wealthiest districts in Texas. These aren’t just teachers. These are the best teachers money can buy in Texas. And they’re paralyzed and at a loss. The fear in the thousands of rule allowing communities must be off the charts.
