Now yes it was the wrong choice, but they had no idea sadly. They did everything by the book, and took into consideration themselves as well
They shot an unarmed person that had nothing to do with anything. Sounds like a massive fail.

the way each and every law enforcement officer is trained, is rigorous. they were responding to a call, and if you don’t comply, they’re trained to respond certain ways. a tragedy either way. could of been avoided easily.

They treat each call seriously. This was someone pulling a rather stupid prank. It’s sad things like this happen, but it wasn’t the officers

exactly. and the officer has to live with the sadness of taking an innocent person’s life, forever. having both parents as cops, it’s easy to see both sides of the story but still have empathy & sympathy for the victim AND officer.

The worst part about it was the caller was interviewed by my dude

Without a doubt, multiple charges for sure I think. Like the amount of resources they had to use as well.

i live in wichita. while my parents aren’t cops in this county, they are deeply saddened by it too. sick sick sick joke. its hard to even believe.

The task force. No one needed to get shot, and I don’t think it’s okay at all. Sadly these “swatting” calls have had this happen.
