Wait until you have to teach your daughter how to play dead in case someone starts shooting. One of my suckiest parenting days was when I had to teach mine. Our country needs to do better. So much better.

When my 7 year old granddaughter started kindergarten a few years back they had a lock down drill with police all through the halls.pretending to look for the bad guy. Her class all crammed into their bathroom and had to be as quiet as could be. Some of the kids started crying.

It really traumatized her because when she told the story after school she thought there really was a bad guy in school.amd she thought she heard gun shots. She was one that cried. I felt so sorry for these 5year olds.

They had us crouch down with our hands over our heads in the hallways for those drills!

Unfortunately it's a fact since those ammo types have a higher penetration grade compared to handguns...and since most of the shooting involve ar-15s, god this is what this country has come to.
