We raise age to buy cigs to 21 b/c we don't think kids brains developed enough to avoid addiction yet we treat 16 yr olds as adults here.

The minute a minor is put in prison, the goal should be to prepare them to live in society. HS diploma, money mngt, anger mngt, family, etc

understanding credit, college vs trade, working with animals to create empathy. Raiseing children as parts of society, changes society.

Yes. Haha I think it's probably a true assumption that many, not all, incarcerated minors had no prior guidance.
