by the high priced health care? You can be unemployed and in debt and be fined for not paying what u can't afford. No sense
subsidies/Medicaid cover those in poverty and middle class above poverty line (unless red state won't accept it)

spot on. I live in TX & get 0 subsidies (not bc of income) but I'm more than happy to pay bc my parents & others do

Nope. Income limit is $12,000. Don't qualify if u make more than that. Wouldn't consider making $12,000/ yr middle class.
