Don't Blame John, He didn't create this system, the us mint hoards all the money and recycle it to who they want to have money, because trust me, if everybody was paid equally nobody would suffer, I hate the arguement "well why should a doctor be paid the same as a janitor?"
-
Because you'll get sick without sanitation workers then ull need a doctor, why should fast food workers be paid as much as doctors, because U want ur food as fast as U'd want to cash ur check, people are so entitled and it makes me want to punch them :/ im a socialist, sue me

It’s affecting red states like AZ because people are elected based on “I will lower your taxes!” “No increased taxes!” Meanwhile, our per pupil spending is less than what it was in 2008. Public education/teacher salaries are frozen so they can keep giving corporate tax cuts

Agree. Poverty is never solved by making everyone poorer. It's solved by raising everyone up. It's solved by making government more responsible in how it allocates funding, including tax dollars. It's solved by putting people in office who actually care about the average person.

You will never hear a celebrity gone broke from helping out too many veterans or teachers. They usually go broke cuz of their personal habits. Whether it's drugs or litigation. It's always about yourselves when it comes to celebs/entertainers.
-
Are you going broke supporting veterans or teachers? Doubt it. I’m sure you don’t want to go broke, you have yourself to support, maybe a family. John can give more than many but how do we know he doesn’t give plenty to help worthy causes?
-
I give 50% of my profits after taxes to any charity that I come across in person so yes I'm pretty broke all the time n I'm ok w/it cuz they need it more n I understand that my mentality is unamerican. It's not always about yourself which is very American
-
When you say profits, are you referring to your business?
-
Profits as in what i make after expenses and taxes. I reiterated taxes because I wanted to point out what I'm doing with my money AFTER taxes. And yes its from my business.
-
I asked if it was from a business because it’s easier to donate from a business once we have paid ourselves than it is to donate from our personal pockets. I’ve owned my own business. And I’m not doubting what you do with your money, I don’t know you to be able to doubt you.
-
Gotcha. Yes business making donating and getting taxed less is a whole another discussion lol

Thank you Mr. Legend for the tax comment. People get so excited about tax cuts. Most of lose sight of the fact that sometimes the tax cut is = cutting our nose off to spite our face. We need our noses!

Lmao. Every citizen including teachers pay their taxes. Just cuz u paid more in dollars(I'm sure u got breaks teachers don't too) does not mean u did your part in helping out teachers. Could have easily gave your AFTER-tax $ to help out but it's not a write-off. Am I right?
-
This problem shouldn't be in the hands of just our government n elected officials. If its such a high priority, it needs to be every citizens top priority n we all kno most celebs like u n ur wife(who mind u got rich off no degrees) don't care but yourselves. Which is v
