1/ Summer Stephan is the current appointed DA and is doing a fantastic job here in San Diego. She has fought tirelessly for the rights of victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, and child-trafficking. Human/child trafficking is a HUGE issue here in San Diego.
-
Read this article and you’ll see all the facts and empirical evidence that she has been an awful DA https://sandiegofreepress.org/2018/06/why-i-cant-support-summer-stephan-for-county-da-and-why-we-need-genevieve-jones-wright/ …
-
This article is obviously biased in the way in which it is written. Give me something that isn’t one-sided, please.
-
There are facts in each of these articles, the opinion is than based off the truth. Just read the articles in full and you will see the facts. You made a statement about summer can you prove any of that with facts? I’ll wait

I’m curious though,
@johnlegend , you don’t live in San Diego. And you haven’t posted about a candidate in any other county today. What gives? Being a democrat doesn’t have anything to do with what a DA does. Don’t vote blindly. -
It’s not a Democrat or inherently partisan issue. Legend supports holding DAs accountable, and has helped launch the MeetYourDA (https://meetyourda.org ) project to help field candidates & inform the electorate about the very real power DAs have.
-
Great website. Please know that there are a lot DAs out there that don’t want to just lock criminals up forever. A lot of these programs and funding (that can rehabilitate criminals) are wanted. Our system needs up, absolutely.
-
And I sincerely hope we get to a day where most people in this country have choices between competing candidates for DA that share that view. Whomever people support, that needs to be the shared goal.

San Diegan, checking in here. Thrilled we have her as a candidate. Genevieve Jones-Wright has my vote.

Done
I convinced my husband, who wasn’t going to, to vote as well. Thank you for running, @JonesWright4DApic.twitter.com/mtn9UBiOES

2/ with over 25 years of experience working as a DA, she has consistently delivered like a badass. This is a non-partisan issue. The work a DA does has nothing to do with being a republican or democrat.
-
Wrong again...check theVoice of San Diego article done awhile back showing the inflated win numbers the DA has reported as well as not testing over 3k rape kits. That’s Bad, not a badass
-
Geneviéve was always a fan of Summer Stephan until a billionaire decided to fund her campaign. There’s crap on both sides. No campaign, and no person is perfect. But this job requires a lot more administrative work than people realize.
-
Trust me, for someone as experienced and educated as Geneviéve is, this should be fine. What San Diego needs is their own native who fights for justice for all. Your candidate can’t even be truthful about her real name!
-
Genevieve is very educated, a San Diego native and from the communities that are most overlooked on a daily basis. She’s a great person who worked harder than most to get where she is. We don’t vote because she is Dem, we vote because she gets it and understands the other 99%
-
1/ I could say the same thing about Summer minus where she was born. Look at her track record, her accolades, and accomplishments. She’s certainly not a bad choice and by no means has she demonstrated an attitude of the “1%”. Human trafficking is a huge issue that effects
