I stopped playing video games at the N64 (Minus a short addiction to Vice City on PS2). But if I could play N64 games (Mario Tennis/Kart, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark) in online multiplayer, w/ just a classic (USB?) remote (no console), & sats as the in-game rewards? 🤯💯 Possible?

With @zebedeeio you can put bitcoin into anything! In preparation for @advbitcoin I wanted to see if I could add bitcoin into a Super Mario running on my original NES, every time you get a coin it sends you some sats!

Bitcoin is like FFA. Former Fiaters Anonymous. The meetups are way better and we are building recovery for the whole world not just a small circle of drinkers. Wish this club was around when I was a teen.

There's a reason why Capital Bitcoin recommends for everyone who doesn't know where to buy their first bitcoin. They're not just the best in Canada, they're the best anywhere.

tl;dr Stability is an emergent consequence of money, not something to be desired of the ‘price’ of money itself. Trying to make a money more ‘stable’, is to inadvertently distort the very information which allows it to convert intersubjective chaos, into maximum possible order.

It is this money which will induce the maximum intersubjective stability, by best communicating and resolving the near infinite set of competing preferences amongst users. Unsurprisingly, it appears that this is what any market for money, left to its own devices, will select for.

The question then becomes, which amongst the myriad ‘potential monies’, is capable of communicating the broadest set of preferences, with the greatest fidelity (via the exclusion of the most extraneous information, now and into the future)?

Despite ‘educated’ opinions to the contrary, attempting to make a money more ‘stable’ (by manipulating its supply) is the very act which inhibits its capacity to be ’stabilizing’, by disrupting its ability to communicate the most relevant ‘preference data’ of those who use it.

They should, at a minimum, be called something like ‘mirror coins’, alluding to the fact that their price ‘mirrors’ the debasement of the fiat currency they’re replicating. I understand that many people currently find them useful, but are they aware of the risks? Caveat emptor.

Further, there’s no such thing as a ‘stable coin’. This is a misnomer that likely instills a false sense of ‘preserved purchasing power’ in many who use them (to say nothing of the precarious counterparty risk that most users are, likely unwittingly, assuming).
