Differing political opinions do not harm. Being offended is not a reason to silence speech. Especially political speech. If you don't like it then turn it off, or engage in dialogue and explain your position.

Free Speech and political discourse are both under fire. Democracy depends on a strong/independent free press and the ability to engage in an open dialogue. It is okay to disagree/dissent. No one should be silenced for their political speech.
