SOOO many people have said this before, I'm just trying to get the word out before we descend into eco-fascism. I really wish I could have emphasized more just how parochial (white/male/elite) evolutionary biology is/was.

Specifically I mention here that lots of North American Indigenous communities knew about the networks of mutual care connecting animals, humans, plants - but that this knowledge was suppressed by settlers, by attempted genocide, land appropriation, etc.
