I find it puzzling that someone attempting a postmodern analysis of Peterson is denouncing him based off of his use of Nietzsche's ideas since the latter was such an influential forerunner of various important post-modern writers.

It's not the influence of Nietzsche that's the problem, N is one of my favorite philosophers, actually. It's the fact that he simply wants to go back to a simplistic return to N, Freud & Jung. There are no new answers here That's already been done.
