Count me out. Westworld is pure melodrama at best. When you've read Dante, Shakespeare, Milton, Goethe, Melville, Joyce, Proust and Mann, THEN we'll talk. But until then, please stop trying to pass off this kind of shit as Art.

Possibly the best show ever put on television. Now that IS a work of High Art! Especially The Return. Lynch at his finest.

Would love to chat about it sometime. For me the movie twin peaks fire walk with me was the best stuff in the series. I have never been as emotional beaten up ever by art in my life by the end of that movie

It's funny, when I first watched Fire Walk I didn't like it and I know it's still generally the least popular entry of the series. However, when I rewatched it last year, it fuckin' blew me away, especially that erotic dance scene with the hypnotic music.

The most horrifying scene ever put on film. Also that scene in the bar right after laura talked to the log lady always hits me in the gutpic.twitter.com/iV7GQd1Sru

I'd never call Westworld *anything* like high art. It just doesn't compare, but it's more interesting from a pop culture analysis lens. If you can stomach a few more episodes... Also, if you don't like season 1, there's no way you'll like season 2...

I gave it 9 episodes and then lost interest.

Another Nolan doing more 'bait-art'. Bait-art is something which makes the 'casual' viewer feel clever or cultured - when it really isn't. Examples= Black Swan, Amelie, Drive, Inception, Bronson etc. You can have that 👍

Thank you. One of the idiots working on that show was probably the one who got @martyrmade banned from Twitter last time.

All because @martyrmade "liked" a comment critical of him or some shit. Totally retarded.
