Those staff members are trained to get detached from their own human emotions when dealing with babies? What are they, robots? Holding or hugging would calm down her anxiety. She was denied the compassion she so needed. Way to go America, we are officially a “shithole” country.

When I first went it kindergarten, I was so homesick. I cried-- a lot. A teacher holding my hand helped me feel safe. I cannot imagine how these children are dealing w/o being able to be held/hugged/comforted. Can't believe this is something we are even talking about.
