    Today, my colleagues and I officially called on top oil & gas executives, as well as their lobbying firms, to provide the Oversight committee with any information about their efforts to undermine climate policy. We’ll get to the bottom of whether they’re misleading the public.

    The President specifically called for ending subsidies to the oil & gas industry. Why isn’t it part of the reconciliation package? As Democrats, we must stand up to fossil fuel corporations and end subsidies to the world’s largest polluters.

    The climate crisis is here. We cannot let the oil & gas industry run interference against our fight to beat it, & we’ll figure out if they are. The industry receives tens of billions every year in subsidies from the American people. They’ll be held accountable to the people too.

    When 81% of Americans support requiring Medicare to negotiate with the pharmaceutical industry to lower the price of prescription drugs opposing this policy does not make you a centrist or a moderate. It makes you a radical whose views are totally outside of the mainstream.

    Trump’s failed Iran policy has resulted in Iran being much closer to a nuclear weapon than they were prior to 2015’s JCPOA nuclear deal. Biden promised reentering JCPOA. yet, hires Dan Shapiro, (adviser to 🇮🇱 NSO group) assuring derailment of any diplomatic effort & endless wars.

    Literally everything Iran is doing right now—enrichment to 60%, assembling 10x the stockpile of enrichment, installing/using faster centrifuges, limiting IAEA access—wouldn’t be happening if the U.S. remained a party to the nuclear deal you think is horrible.
