Zero stars for the makeup on the right. Golf clap for the makeup on the left

Screenshot of Facebook post using the image from the previous tweet. From the three women in the photo, Facebook has found only two faces. It has correctly selected the face on the right. However, it has selected a detail of the woman the left’s coat as a face. It has not found a face for the woman in the middle.

Turns out that 80s dystopian sci-fi (think Liquid Sky) was not only uncannily prescient, but was far more dystopian than we imagined

Screen shot of article from The Gaurdian. Headline reads “Hiding in plain sight: activists don camouflage to beat Met surveillance.” The imaging accompanying the article is of three women with makeup reminiscent of 80s with geometric shapes in varying colours.

Seems to me that there’s an inherent grammatical contradiction in the phrase “big data are” here. If you clinging to “data” as plural of “datum”, then “big data” is basically the same thing as saying “big squirrels” when you mean “hordes of squirrels”

Screenshot of tweet from @NatureNews. Text reads, in part: “big data are difficult to handle.”

So let me guess, the strategy is to scare everybody into leaving you the fuck alone by being a homicidal whack-job, right?

Did nobody involved in this consider for a second the White Supremacist implications of staging a “conqueror challenge” in South America?

I used to think transferring to a domestic flight from international through Sydney airport was the worst. That was until today. Melbourne is far, far worse. Why don’t you have a transfer desk, ?

The problem is not a lack of training. The vast majority of people that die at the hands of police are black. How is their training sufficient to stop them from killing white people, but not sufficient to stop them from killing black kids?

So this seems like a pretty stupid restriction, but whatever. The real issue I have with it is why did Messages even prompt me to set it up? Make up your goddamned mind,
