My oldest is trans. On his 16th birthday we legally changed his name to Leo Phoenix Riggs. He's never been more happy in the past few years than right now. We've cut unsupported family completely out of our life. If someone has a problem that's their problem. #TransMenAreMen

An NES Prototype NOBODY knew about has been found, the rom has been safely dumped and, this Sunday, you'll know the story and how you can play it for yourself.

My game was on bootleg sites less than 24 hours after being in the Switch eShop. My theory is those who want to support will, those who bootlegged my game would never have paid for it in the first place

Fuck Covid. It just claimed someone else I knew today. His entire family got it; wife and kids, but they got over it, it stuck with him. He was omega-healthy, didn't eat junk food, lifted, ran 5 miles every day... didn't matter. He's been in the ER since early december... sucks.

My friend just popped in his local Goodwill and found these - $5 each. There are finds still out there, just gotta be persistent.

Remember when Nintendo had their 'sign up for the partner program on YouTube so you can do Nintendo videos without getting strikes' thing from 6 years ago? Here's one of the fruits of those labors.

I'm old. I want a copy of Tears of the Kingdom without all the crafting nonsense. Just gimme kill some enemies, do the dungeon, get the item, kill the boss using the newly found item, walk into a waterfall, talk to giant elven drag fairies-type zelda.

When I got married in 2002, my friend bought me Super Monkey Ball 2 for GameCube. All of the other wedding gifts, the microwave broke, the toaster doesn't work, the pots and pans are trashed... but I still play Monkey Ball 2 on GameCube today. This news made my soul shine.

It was a year ago today that I attended my last video game convention. Also, at 6'5, I met someone taller than me. (kelsey for scale)

Today is my son's 12th birthday. He has autism doesn't speak much but I think he got the concept of what having a 'birthday' is. For the past month he's been specifically asking, "want more two marble toy birthday?" (those marble path construction kits) and chocolate cake.

My boss just found out I have a YouTube channel and told me he subscribed. I thought he told me that as a 'hey, don't do YT stuff at work' but turned into him asking how to start a channel. Job security, my friends!

20 years ago today I drove to Tri-Cities with a girl I hardly knew (after being turned down by 7 other girls in a row), blew out one of my tires which stranded us for a couple hours, and our teeth clanked when we tried to kiss... One year later to the day we were married.

If you could gift games in eShop like you could on Wii's Virtual Console, I'd be buying my friends games all the time. EVERYONE gets a copy of Untitled Goose Game!

It looks like eShop doesn’t allow me to buy a digital copy for a friend?????

well, it took him 13 years but my son with autism finally discovered Minecraft on his own. That ought to occupy him for the next forever.

I may have a weight problem but I don't have a problem with my weight. And if someone in the comment section does, that's their problem.

Even a lot of retro gamers are getting an Oculus Quest 2 which warms my soul. Wait until they figure out they can play every Virtual Boy game on this with VirtualBoyGo sideloaded.

I'm not one for gym selfies or stepping on scales, but I did both! Down 30 lbs and 2 belt notches from when I first started. Would be more if I gave up IPAs and cereal, but that's not happening ever.

The good news is I've accepted a position I'm excited about, comes with AWESOME perks and it means nothing in my personal life changes. I keep my radio job and youtube stuff doesn't change at all. The 'job' is like a teacher's assistant but on a MUCH grander scale of YouTube.

Balloons, y'all! My doctor told me I was very close to dying when I was 19 (complications from Grave's Disease that no doctor for the previous 2 years could diagnose) so an extra 19 years and then some ain't bad. Gonna beat FF7r.

My dad is in the 'dying phase' of his life so keeping busy distracts. Pumping out several videos to schedule in advance in case I'm out of action for a while.

If I call my kids' schools to let them know they won't be attending, it shouldn't be anyone's business why they're staying home. I'm the dad, I'm saying they're staying home because I've deemed it okay for them to do-so for any reason.

As an adult, playing video games for long periods of time is fucking awesome. If you don't believe me, try it sometime. Some of my 100 greatest moments are a direct results from playing and being involved with video games. And this comes from me, a 21-year dj.

Can't play the games I own, the games I paid for, right now on PS4 because server issues so they can't verify my license for the digital titles. I'm trying to support digital media, but this is a huge reason it's getting hard to.

That's ridiculous! Acting is acting! I'm a radio DJ by day - doing morning announcements in high school, talking on the intercom at a grocery store - that's all experience.
