Tbh I’ve always struggled with it. CHR feels like it cements privilege (“I know where this came from but you can’t. I benefit from that context and access but you have to take it at face value.”)

I understand. I should have noted that the majority of speakers waive CHR for the most part, it just allows them to engage in sensitive topics in real time that could easily be taken out of context. And there's a huge lack of context in today's dialog.
