Along this lines, I’ve stated repeatedly my concerns about the world we are building and what we need to do in response. I also tend to think we can’t go backwards, so I am hopeful we can build a better world. I certainly don’t think it is inevitable.https://stratechery.com/2013/friction/
Disagree that any honoring of "how things work now" is equivalent to "going backwards." Perhaps having humans help us gather and understand our food is actually a good solution. Perhaps tech isn't meant to reshape every aspect of our lives.
