1/ i think you need to find the streaming equivalent of collecting. i don't think it is owning. we've moved beyond that.

@soundcloud is but there are a number of reasons it doesn't work well for those over 25. i think the new team there can address a bunch of them in 2018 -
Don’t think many realize it’s still a top 25 app overall in the App Store. Lots of potential still there.

I’m totally on the other side of this. Never been easier to share and discover music. Plus I can play music in any room in my house on Sonos and listen in my car or headphones wherever.

All I read was “get off my lawn.” Totally disagree with the sentiments here (and I’m a huge music person). This is a golden age of discovery... and real music lovers will always go beyond the algorithm.
