UPS leaves packages outside the building where anyone can steal them. Amazon drivers have been great. Everytime calling me and if I'm not home they leave packages in back of building.

I'm glad to hear that, and I'm sure there are great drivers who are not harried.

You changed your default as a merchant shipping out packages? Or as a recipient/customer? I haven't been able to find any defaults as a customer. Would appreciate any pointers. Thx!

Took a lot of work, but yes, you can change to state "no Amazon delivery." We've found they ignore it half the time or more.

On the Canadian Amazon site, the closest I could find was under 1-click Settings for each address book entry. A confusing array of 2-day, express, priority, expedited, etc but nothing that explicitly said who the carrier would be. Is that where you saw it?

I didn’t know that was an option? Can you set that as a default or do you have to do so on each purchase?

Eventually this problem will be “solved” though autonomous vehicles & drones, creating a whole new set of problems.
