She's amazing. After she was widowed around the age of 70, she got back together with her high school boyfriend who she had left behind in the Netherlands when she managed to get out. They spent another couple of decades together, splitting time between California and The Hague.

Amazing. My 95-year-old grandmother got her first shot and I wept. She dropped out of college, raised 3 kids, and had them + 5 grandkids at her PhD graduation in the ‘90s. She’s outlived two husbands, and I cannot wait to hug her again.

I’m so happy for you both. My 101 year-old grandma died of covid19 in April. Give her a big hug for me
