    The first one is merely a lost opportunity. It’s sloppy, low-fidelity. Functionality-wise of course they produce the same results at the value level however the fidelity one requires at the type level is very much application-dependent. Some people, gasp, don’t even use types.

    Lesson I've Learned: In every field I've learned deeply, I realize 90%+ of people are clueless. They imitate, mimic & play act with no idea what's really going on. I didn't believe it until I had the same experience in 3 unrelated fields (h/t ) (exception: MMA)

    Are there examples of state machine based user interface in Swift UI. Where I find constraints/dataflow win over diff/functional/immediate mode is that as the essential complexity of a UI increases, constraints remain more closely aligned to the essential complexity by far.
