"Avengers: Infinity War" (on the plane): hope you've seen the previous 20 "Infinity War" movies, because we're just going to assume you already know who all 100 characters are and about their relationships and why the villain wants to destroy the universe and so on

the movie about the separated adopted triplets (on the plane): interesting story, I'd rather they'd cut 30 minutes about the triplets and used that time to talk about genetics + heritability + twin studies in general (but that's just me)

Shake Shack (at the airport): the burger was fine and the fries were good, but the food was not so amazing that if they opened a Seattle location I'd go out of my way to eat there

Ess-a-Bagel: "Melanie's Special" (whitefish salad + lox on a bagel) -- the line was long, the whitefish salad was good, the bagel was just a bagel not unlike one I could have gotten in Seattle (cue "no, you fool, for bagels you should have gone to ______" responses)

Excellent critique of Jupyter notebooks, It made me rethink my coding practices, I've been relying on notebooks too much, often copying roughly the same code from notebook to notebook rather than writing a proper module.

. is a legend! Love his book and loved his talk. We should always talk about the disadvantages of a tool (no matter what the tool) and always highlight the importance of best practices. Also: super happy to see that my workflow is similar to his! 👏💪💻

One of my biggest regrets about not attending JupyterCon is missing this talk.
