It's true most AN's have some kind of moral belief system. But when I press them to reveal this belief system, they cannot, other than say suffering is "bad", which is the same as saying they don't like it. There's no metric by which to discern "good & evil".

Since nothing has meaning, there is no point in creating more meaningless people.
That makes sense to me. Moreso than some fabricated moral code based on personal whim.

There are different degrees of suffering. If comfort can be provided by all means choose comfort. But to label it as "good or evil" is entirely arbitrary and subjective, having no real value.
