The topic was about "acting". I mentioned to HC that Brando had said the same thing he had tweeted regarding acting. Elsewhere, HC found the video clip and posted it. The subject is about "acting". Not Brando's personal problems.

I was just agreeing with his point about life being an act. Thought the same thing for years. The dude changed acting for the better and his stance on sexuality was awesome. Sure, he was megalomaniac but who in Hollywood isn't?

His latter years certainly didn't do him much good. Became a caricature of himself. But his early work was ground-breaking man. He was one of the first to use natural human reactions on the screen. Best actor of all time? Silly statement but Daniel Day Lewis springs to mind.

Yeah, Godfather's my fave film, tho I give more credit 2 Coppola 4 that, he was good in it. Day Lewis is a good choice. Robert Duvall comes to mind. I don't hate him. I mentioned Lennon once, & Ant Man Bee jumped on him w/both feet cause he's a procreator, but he praised Brando

My criticism of Lennon was regarding the hypocritical lyrics he wrote in "Imagine"... "imagine no possessions..." he wrote this and at the same time was in possession of millions of dollars worth of real estate, among other things.

Just cause an artist is successful, that doesn't mean they should be limited in how they express themselves

Anyone can express themselves however they want, whether they are successful or not. Others can also critique those expressions, whether they are successful or not. Personally, I think Lennon was a great singer/songwriter. But not beyond criticism.
Certainly not. U seemed to have quite a bit of venom 4 him. & u blasted him, & every other parent 4 being a procreator, which is why I was surprised that u seemed 2 be giving fatso a pass

I never gave Brando a pass. We were talking about acting. I mentioned Brando's theory that all humans are acting. That's all. It really had nothing to do with Brando's life. It was about acting. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've tried to explain this to you.
