How many times has this happened? Some1 needs 2 be laid off. It's down to 2 ppl. 4 argument's sake, everything's equal: they started on the same day, work exactly as hard as each other, etc. But 1 has kids & the other doesn't. Can't let that 1 go: has kids 2 support #antinatalism

It would depend on the manager making the decision. One might base the decision on their work performance. Another might base it on compassion for the parental caregiver.

That's my point. As usual, I ran out of words, or didn't maximize them well enough, but tons of non parents have been screwed in that situation cause they don't have kids to support

I don't know if that is true or not. Did someone do a statistical analysis on how many non-parents have been fired in favor of parents?

Not that I know of: sounds like a tricky Google. But I think it'd be obvious that happens: esp if all else is basically equal. 1 has kids 2 support, the other doesn't, so they'd feel better giving the axe 2 the 1 that doesn't
