Those who romanticize nature & animals & forests & so on are seriously deluded. Animals in nature are in a living hell. It's a horror fest unparalleled by anything you can imagine. Living in constant fear & deprivation, eating each other alive just to subsist

Oh I see! I'd actually say that most people don't experience the misery of life at all, and that many creatures can feel terror and despair, and those that can probably do most of the time.

I concur. People are oblivious to most suffering and pain that goes on around them. Animals, for the most part, are in a constant state of paranoia and fear, and for good reason. If the humans don't kill em, some other goddamn animal will.
