"How are u?" is such a stupid greeting. I hate it when ppl I don't know ask me this. They're asking a question that 99% of the time they don't want a real answer to #GREETINGS #salutations #antinatalism

People ask "How are you?" I usually say "Not so good." If they ask for more info, I say "Well, I'm old and decrepit. Suffer a lot of pain. I'm poverty stricken. Sickness & death are all I have to look forward to..." and so on. They usually shut up after that.

It depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes, I like to challenge them by answering their rote question honestly. Other times, I just grunt inaudibly or don't respond at all. I don't know why I do what I do. Frustration, angst, disgust, sinus infection??? I dunno
