We do want the species to die out, don't we? I mean, the whole idea of anti-nataling is to be anti-breeding. Hence, the species will die out.

We do, but unfortunately, these people see antinatalism as a bad thing. It's hard to get through to optimists + pronatalists. Some people will never get it, but at least I tried π€·ββοΈ.

You can't take on mainstream normies and expect them to make a 180 degree turnaround. You have to select people who are ripe for the idea, people who have some leanings already in that direction.

Youβre a 100% correct. That was my mistake. They were attacking my AN views so I needed to defend myself.

There's nothing wrong with defending your view and presenting your case, but don't expect the hive mind people to convert all of a sudden. There are some people who are open to the AN idea and those are the ones you want to invest your time and energy into.

I donβt expect to convert them. I only wish theyβd not be so hostile to AN, thatβs all. But yes, youβre right.

Almost everyone is hostile against anything and everything right now. I mean, just watch or read a little bit of the news. The world is coming unglued.

I agree with you. I found the experience good practice for real life debates. I was very polite, diplomatic + wished them the best. I had to explain what gambling with someone elseβs life meant, but I think they got a fair idea of what AN is.

You're one of the best debaters I've ever seen. With your civil and mannered approach, you invariably sew some seeds in people's minds that will later take root and grow.

Thank you π. They acknowledged they share my concerns about the state of the world + raising children. So thatβs a start.

You'll present the facts. At first they'll recoil and react emotionally. But, later, they'll reflect on what you said and start to see the truth of what you're saying. It takes people a while to grasp AN when they are not used to it. Their brains are filled with propaganda.
