The concept of gambling with someone else's life is about the genetic lottery of randomness. You can give your child everything + do everything right by the book, and many people do, but you cannot control if your child is born with a disability, unstable future or bad luck.

I just saw a story of a young woman who was working as an Uber driver and a passenger shot her in the head and killed her. I wonder if her parents foresaw that for her? Also the young lady had two small children at home. I wonder if she foresaw them as motherless in the future?
