would think that the most precious of souls would take themselves out of this hellhole but the multitude remains. are these creatures reflections of us? is it God eating himself? a simulation? we in hell? is the creator the gnostic demiurge? reality a mixture of good and evil?

My statement is satire, a parody. There is no god. Life is a DNA molecule that managed to replicate around 4 billion yrs ago & has evolved into a multitude of forms conditioned to survive by eating each other alive, for the most part. Morality really has nothing to do with it.

if we see ultimate reality (god) and our relation to it as a fundamental question... naturalism is a cope to excuse reality, naturalist can't fathom a mind would do this shit. it is more terrifying if God is real and he is evil. otoh void saves us from the natural.

If you want to indulge in faith & believe in gods & demons, then go for it. I'd rather appraise the situation based on evidence. There's no "mind" that "would do this shit". It's brute force doing it, Darwin's law of natural selection. There's no creative mind or agency behind it

it's not so much about faith to me as about the state of being and what we will be like. you don't even want to start trying to figure out backup plans? what kind of evidence will you seek after you have died? this might require me to observe you as it occurs though. sorry :/
