I wonder what “nothing” means to that user. Clearly the vax was for the initial strain. Do they think a vax has to protect someone from every disease out there in order form them to not view it as “nothing”? 🤣

Not sure I understand what you're saying. Fauci and the OT are speaking of the same disease, Covid19, not "every disease out there". Fauci is saying the vaccine is no longer effective against the new Covid19 variant, that the current vaccine is already obsolete.

Does this person expect scientists to know the 100 year future of the virus and develop a vax that protects for that length of time? Would it not be “nothing” to them at that point?

We're not talking about a hundred years. We're talking about 8 months. So what you're saying is that every time the virus mutates, they'll need to roll out a new vaccine? And then a few months later, they'll need another vaccine?

Yeah I think a lot of the current feelings have to do with the expectations that were built early on. It’s an unfamiliar situation for most of the world, so when there was early hope, it’s hard to reset and reassess the current situation and dismiss the wishful thinking of past.

Yeah, they hyped the hell out of the new gene therapy, that it was the answer to all the world's Covid19 problems. But it was a big snow job is what. But Pfizer and Moderna & J&J have made billions upon billions off of it, so who cares? More vaccines, more money for Big Pharma.
