I wonder what “nothing” means to that user. Clearly the vax was for the initial strain. Do they think a vax has to protect someone from every disease out there in order form them to not view it as “nothing”? 🤣

Right, but the vax that people got was for the threat at the time. With new variants coming, it would be silly to think that the vax of the past would’ve predicted the future mutations. How much into the future should the vax predict the mutations before it’s not “nothing”?

Does this person expect scientists to know the 100 year future of the virus and develop a vax that protects for that length of time? Would it not be “nothing” to them at that point?

We're not talking about a hundred years. We're talking about 8 months. So what you're saying is that every time the virus mutates, they'll need to roll out a new vaccine? And then a few months later, they'll need another vaccine?
