If we didnβt have skin covering our bones + muscle tissue, as well as our intestines + other disgusting stuff about the human body, would we still want to mate/procreate? I think not. We tend to forget who/what we are.

Did you ever see the original Hellraiser flick where the guy is trying to escape hell but his body hasn't fully developed yet and it's still like you described, bone and muscle and tendons and blood and gunk? He got this lady to bring him victims to eat and grow his flesh body.
