Being an autistic woman is hard. Autistic women choose comfort over styleโฆ itโs hard to believe in traditional gender roles entirely when you donโt technically fit into them easily like neurotypical women. You prefer natural fibres, minimal or no make up + flat shoes.

Old school hippie girls are cool. Iโm finding this autism book on women interesting to read. Will probably write a post about it later on and compare which characteristics apply to me in the post. Thereโs so much info on autistic men, but not as much on autistic women.
