Written before 1996, so he was well ahead of his time.

He was a fuckin genius. No, I mean, literally, a fuckin genius. Went to Harvard when he was 16. Became a professor of mathematics at Berkeley by age 25.

Indeed. It’s sad he got punished the way he did. I wish he had published more books from prison. I’m writing down my favourite quotes from his book so I can write a blogpost about it. It’s a must read for any person who is into dystopia + doesn’t want to read a fiction novel.

I haven't read but excerpts of this text that were uploaded to the internet a few years back.
There's a documentary on the net somewhere that has the only known interview with Mr K. He sounded like a regular, down to earth, common sense kind of guy, to me.

He probably would be bc of his love for the simple life + wilderness. I always felt that way too. I hate this technocracy we live in. I remember when I gave up my smart phone + switched to a basic phone for almost a year + my employer forced me to get a smartphone to clock in.

I'm fucked. I'm totally addicted to the internet. The internet demon has a stranglehold on my psyche.
Help me, Zeus, father in the universal sky!!!
You’re not the only one. I have a hard time giving up technology too.
