The winter blues are a real thingβ¦ some people get so depressed + anxious in winter - especially if they are outdoorsy people who have hobbies they enjoy out in nature + itβs hard to with shorter days + longer nights + less sunshine.

I like winter as long as it doesn't get real cold because you don't have to mow and people stay indoors

I don't mind winter. My friend was complaining to me he can't go fishing or do is photography after work to wind down bc of the shorter days. My most hated season is spring bc it is when I'm the most suicidal + I become the craziest.

Yeah, I've heard they call the winter blues "seasonal depression" but since I have perennial depression I don't notice any difference

There are people who are vitamin D deficient + they buy these lamps that help them during winter time, especially if they are elderly. I donβt mind the winter, although sometimes I contemplate moving back to a tropical climate even tho I find summer unpleasant sometimes.

It works for some people. It doesn't affect me much. Like I said, I'm a nightmare in spring like many other people with mental + mood disorders.

I wasn't talkin about you. I meant people with vitamin D deficiency. They say the D vitamin is good for your immune system. With this pandemic it might be helpful.
