The wind up there was so strong you had to brace yourself at all times. My heart was pounding, muscles aching, for lack of oxygen. 14,000 plus feet is way up in the sky. But the view was spectacular.

Definitely sounds like it was all worth it. I hate strong winds (I live in a Windy City). I can imagine how much you had to resist + continue being resilient up there before you got to experience the magic of being on another planet.

I guess it was worth it. I did a lot of shit when I was younger that I would never do again. By the time I got back to base camp, I decided I was never gonna climb another 14er again. I had climbed a couple of other ones, but was able to 4 wheel partially up.
