I'm out of place no matter where I am lol
I like it out here. There's more freedom than in the urban areas. People tend to leave ya alone.

Your soul is nomadic.

It used to be nomadic, that's for sure.
I'd move away from here, but only to move even deeper into a more remote, rural area. I like the solitude.

I went to an aura photographer who told me I was probably a gypsy in a past lifeβ¦ I take that with a grain of salt, but I love the lifestyle. I always wanted a caravan + to try the van life, but I donβt know how to maintain it + maintenance is quite costly for it.

I've done road work. Lived out of vans, buses, cars, etc. A long time ago.
They try to make the van or RV life look like a lot of fun. And it is fun... for about a week or two... then, it's not fun, anymore...

I can imagine that. I cringed when my friend sent me a pic of how to convert his Subaru into a camper vehicle to save money on rent. I think Iβll stick to camping seasonally in the summer time with some friends.

When I was younger, I used to go on brutal primitive camping expeditions. Be up in the Rocky Mountains for weeks. Climb 14 thousand footers. Shit like that. I got pics. I should send you some. They're real photos. Not digital. I've got video, too. VHS, though

My ex-colleague from work had sent me the name of a good company that teaches outdoor survival skills. He was in the military. When I get into better shape, I plan to give it a try. It should be fun.

I think that'd be good for ya... staying out in the wild for extended periods is really good therapy

Have you seen the movie Instinct? Thatβs my friends fav movie. He said photographing the rainforest helps him keep his sanity + this world drives him crazy. I kept photos + articles published in the paper. Nature inspires me to write. Thatβs why I love ecology so much.

I can't remember if I've seen that one or not but I'm a fan of Anthony Hopkins (not just the Hannibal movies, either). I'm a pull that one up and watch soon...
Nature slows ya down. You get into nature's rhythm & it's healing, therapeutic.

I hadnβt seen it before. My friend told me to watch it + explained to me that it was his life story in a way. It was tragic + I fell in love with it right away. Somewhere in my life when I was younger, I learnt to prefer nature + animals to people.
