I took off on the backroads & was just wandering. I was lost for a while. A lot of those backroads have no road signs, so I just wing it. It's remote country. Lots of scary lookin characters, rebel flags flyin, odd lookin domiciles, etc. The forest is gorgeous

Thats where your horror stories beginβ¦ but itβs been good for you so far.

I love those horror flicks where yuppie punks go to the country & act like assholes & then the locals kill & eat them. I always root for the cannibals lol
The area I live in is notorious. Ive met mass murderers, thieves, drunks, junkies, crazed rednecks, etc

You seem out of place for that area, but at least you get enjoy the great scenery + escape the concrete jungle.

I'm out of place no matter where I am lol
I like it out here. There's more freedom than in the urban areas. People tend to leave ya alone.

Your soul is nomadic.

It used to be nomadic, that's for sure.
I'd move away from here, but only to move even deeper into a more remote, rural area. I like the solitude.

I went to an aura photographer who told me I was probably a gypsy in a past lifeβ¦ I take that with a grain of salt, but I love the lifestyle. I always wanted a caravan + to try the van life, but I donβt know how to maintain it + maintenance is quite costly for it.

I've done road work. Lived out of vans, buses, cars, etc. A long time ago.
They try to make the van or RV life look like a lot of fun. And it is fun... for about a week or two... then, it's not fun, anymore...

I can imagine that. I cringed when my friend sent me a pic of how to convert his Subaru into a camper vehicle to save money on rent. I think Iβll stick to camping seasonally in the summer time with some friends.

When I was younger, I used to go on brutal primitive camping expeditions. Be up in the Rocky Mountains for weeks. Climb 14 thousand footers. Shit like that. I got pics. I should send you some. They're real photos. Not digital. I've got video, too. VHS, though

My ex-colleague from work had sent me the name of a good company that teaches outdoor survival skills. He was in the military. When I get into better shape, I plan to give it a try. It should be fun.

I think that'd be good for ya... staying out in the wild for extended periods is really good therapy
