There would be no life without procreation. Procreation is the essence of life. The primal instinct to replicate is around 4 billion years old. It's a deeply ingrained habit.

I had this dream a night or so ago about people realising all the wrong in the world + consciously deciding not to procreate. It felt so real. I hope with whatever recorded wisdom we leave behind about the futility of life + AN, it will resonate with someone else, somewhere.

Antinatalism is catching on, contrary to popular belief. As more people become exposed to the concept and the simple, clear logic of it, AN is gaining traction. With your books, AN may achieve even more support.

The only thing that makes me look forward to living. 2 nights ago, my parents told me they don't care if I pass/fail my construction diploma. They want my first priority to be writing + publishing, they said they will support me bc they think writing will be "healing" for me.

I decided to strt my antidepressant earlier. Its taken me 3 days to clean my room. I'll submit my assignments soon + then take a holiday for a few days to spend time with my friends. Then I'll start my projects. My parents also told me they support my advice which they previously

rejected about my brother getting a vasectomy + remaining childfree. I'm so pleased with that. We sat down last night + talked about my cousin + her baby + they basically said she never should have had the kid. AN is starting to sink into people's psyche more, at least around me.

My parents wanted him to have kids a few yrs ago. I told them he's schizophrenic + autistic + can't tc of himself. Arab parents r the worst, even if their kids hv a genetic disease they still want them to procreate. I'm glad that's finally sunk in bc I don't wanna raise his kid.

It's not an Arab thing. Trust me. Parents of all races want grandchildren. It's the DNA talking. DNA is a hell of a drug.

Arabs are the only people I know who will force their disabled children (who canβt even care for themselves) to procreate. I have heard of some Indian parents doing the same. I donβt understand it. My mumβs neighbour in Iraq refused to marry + have kids bc of her genetic disease.
